Computer definition

Definition:-A computer is an electronic device that van perform arithmetical and logical operations,which highly processing speeds and is capable of storing large doubt of data.

Advantages:-1.Computers give accurate result after processing data.
2.Computer stores large amounts of data.
3.Computer can be operating continuously for so many hours,day and years without taking any rest.
4.Computer van be used to do risky jobs.
Disadvantages:computers are very powerful tools,but cannot think.

CU=Control Unit
ALU=Arithmetic Logic Unit
Parts Of Computer:the parts of computer are 1.Input devices 2.CPU 3.Output devices
Input:any data/Information that is given to the computer are called Input.

Input device:The devices that are used to give input to the computer are called input vice.The following are  various input devices.1.Key board 2.Mouse 3.Scanner and etc....

Key board:- The key board is an input device for entering text and numbers it consists of keys 104/108 keys.It is divided into 3 parts.1.Functional keys 2.Alphanumeric keys 3.cursor controll and numerical key pad.

1.Function keys:-These are special keys used to perform special functions.These are Function keys is ordinary key board.

2.Alpha numeric keys:-This area of the key board resembles a standard type writer key board.This part of the key board consists of all alphabets,digits,special characters with additional keys Enter,CAPS LOCK,Shift keys,CTRL,ALT keys,Back space and spacebar,Tab keys
.
3.Cursor control and numeric keypad:-The control key are four keys Left cursor key,right cursor key,up,down and other numeric keypad.


MOUSE:-Mouse is specially designed,pointing devices.That contains a smooth ball under it.A mouse contains two buttons left and right buttons.The left button is used for selecting the objects,single clicking and double clicking.The right button is used for activate shortcut menus that provides list of operations that can be done on the selected objects.A small pad on which the mouse is to be moved is called mouse pad.

OTHER INPUT DEVICES:-joystick,Light pen,Bar code reader,Touch screen,OMR(Optical Mark Reader),MICR(Magnetic Ink Character Recognition).

OUTPUT:-Input is converting to the output by using a process.

OUTPUT DEVICES:-Output devices are help yo translate the result/information/ or work done by the computer into our own language or any other required form.
The main output devices are Monitor and Printer.
MONITOR:-The monitor is also called V.D.U.(Visual Display Unit) and it is also called as screen or console.The monitor consists of a cathode ray tube using which the characters can be seen.The monitor consists of 80 columns and 24 rows.It is also consists of very tinny dots.One such a dot a pixel.The monitor can be dividing into two categories.
1.Monochrome 2.Color monitor
PRINTERS:-Printer is an output device which produces the hard copy either on a paper like a material.The printer can be dividing into two categories.
1.Impact printers 2.Non impact printers
IMPACT PRINTERS:-The printers that have a direct contact between their print head and the paper are called impact printers.Ex.Daisy Wheel Printer,Dot-matrix printer.

NON-IMPACT PRINTERS:-The printers that do not show any impact directly on the paper are called Non-Impact printers.Ex.Ink jet printers,Laser printers.

C P U:-CPU means central processing unit.It contains 3 units.Arithmetic logic unit,Control unit,Memory unit.

ALU:-It performs arithmetic and logical operations.Like Addition Subtraction,Multiplication etc.

CU:-Control unit,it controls the operations.It keeps track of processing.Perform and the process to be performed.

MU:-Memory unit is used to stores the information main memory unit is divided into two types.
1.RAM 2.ROM

Generations of computer

First Generation:-The first generation of computers the time period is 1951-1958.The main component is used Vaccum tubes.The storing device is Vaccum tubes and electro static tubes.The remarks of it is very expensive failure rate was very high.Ex.ENIAC
Second Generation:-The second generation of computers the time period is 1959-1964.The main component is used Transistors.The storing device is magnetic drums.It is mainly used for Business applications.Ex.EDSAC(Electrical delay storage computer machine).
Third Generation:-The third generation of computers the time period is 1965-1970.The main component is used Integrated Circuit.The storing devise is magnetic tapes.The remarks first of used high level languages COBAL,FORTRAN.COBAL means Common Business Oriented Language,FORTRAN means Formula translated language and PL means Programming language.Ex.IBM(International Business Machine).
Fourth Generation:-The fourth generation of computers the time period is 1970-1980.The main component is used VLSI(Very Large Scale Integrated circuits).The storing device is Flophy Disks.The features of fourth generation are
1.Reduction size 2.Micro processor used 3.Better price
Fifth Generation:the fifth generation of computers the time period is 1981 onwards.The main cponent is used Think centre or it is called thinking computers.The storingdevice is CD ROM.RThe features of fifth generation are
1.Reduction size 2.Micro processor used 3.Better price.

Obviously this was going to be the first on my list.Proffesonal blogging is one of the best known methods of getting income from computer based jobs.We all arrive at blogs while surfing and we see advertisement on many blogs.So,we can easily knoe that the owner of that blog is earning some amount of money from writing the blog content.
There are a number of good and free blog sites where you can easily setup your blog.After setup,you should write about things that really interest you once your blog is adequately settled,then you should put online ads on it.you can use google adsense for getting ads (or) you can ad service provided by other networks like yahoo media ,wordpress.com also provides it own ads.
There is good command on language,ability to write in an interesting way,familarity with basic coding and other technical stuff like SEO.
